Client Relationship Coordinator / Para Planner - Tacoma

The Client Relationship Coordinator/ Paraplanner- plays a critical role in the functioning of our firm. Responsible for performing a variety of para and strategic planning tasks to ensure the financial planning process is seamless. This role ensures all paperwork and reports are prepared in a timely, accurate manner, so the senior wealth advisor can present at the highest professional level. Additional backup responsibilities include day-to-day operational duties of the firm and helping the office run smoothly while working directly with the Director of First Impressions.
Operations/Back Office Support
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients on the phone, over e-mail, and in person.
- Take the lead and address complex client service needs.
- Work alongside assigned senior wealth advisor(s) to perform administrative functions including but not limited to:
- Coordinate, assemble, and mail client paperwork and correspondence.
- Ensure tasks and workflows are established and completed.
- Confirm all RMD’s are withdrawn by end of the year
- Document filing and data entry
- Provide operational support for all existing clients including but not limited to:
- Account transfers
- Move money requests
- Branch deposits
- Conversions
- Beneficiary updates
- Estate Processing
- Manage all the new and existing annuity and life policies
- Contribute administrative support to the compliance officer
- Back up Director of First Impressions when required
- Coordinate’s state, SEC, and FINRA licensing
- Perform other operational duties as assigned
Para Planner
- Proactive client communication to gather data and homework items, provide status updates
- Assisting accounting in completion of invoicing for financial plan· Transferring and scanning of client information to appropriate databases to ensure that electronic and paper files are complete, organized, and secure.
- Assisting clients with launching website, adding connections, and maintaining links
- Designing financial plan in eMoney in a timely manner (target 1 week after receiving info) and with a high level of accuracy
- Documenting planning progress in detail and completing tasks in Redtail, Redtail workflows, and Redtail Opportunities so that the status can easily be understood by other members of the firm
- Researching client-specific issues, aiding in the review of designed plan, and communicating conclusions verbally and in writing to the wealth advisor
- Identify and recommend improvements for workflows by helping to develop, update and maintain financial planning processes and procedures.
- Prepare for Financial Planning and Strategy Meetings by:
- Contact the client to inquire about adjustments the client would like to incorporate into their financial plan.
- Examine manually entered information regarding assets, liabilities, income, and expenses.
- Communicate status updates to the wealth advisor for the upcoming meeting and reflect the changes on the meeting agenda.
- Ensure connection links to assets under management and accounts held away are active and current.
- Renew Login access if necessary.
- Provide a variety of support to Wealth Advisors as needed.
- Financial services: 5 years (Preferred)
- Financial planning: 2 years (Preferred)
- Life Insurance License (Preferred)

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
